Overview

The Reference Manager extension enhances financial accuracy and compliance in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central by enforcing the use of vendor and customer reference numbers. Built on top of the Estonian Bank Formats Localization, it ensures that payment references are correctly managed and validated throughout the purchasing and payment processes.

Key Features

• Mandatory Vendor Reference Numbers - Enforce the requirement for a payment reference on purchase orders and invoices. The system checks for missing references during preview and posting, and validates that payments are not linked to multiple invoices with different references.
• Customer Reference Number Generation - Automatically generate reference numbers for new or existing customers using the customer number and a check digit.
• Flexible Setup Options - Generate customer reference numbers either from the customer card or via the Estonian Bank Formats Setup page, with the ability to target specific customers or apply to all.
